Pacific Standard Time (PST) is a time zone that is used in parts of Canada and the United States. It is 8 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and does not observe Daylight Saving Time. PST is also known as Pacific Time.

The countries that use the Pacific Standard Time zone include the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Yukon and the United States states of California, Nevada, and Oregon. These areas are located on the west coast of North America, between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains. The largest cities in this time zone include Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.
